My faith has grown in many ways throughout high school, especially through experiences that strengthened my relationship with God and my understanding of Catholic teachings. Receiving Confirmation in 2024 was an important moment for me because it marked my personal commitment to living out my faith more intentionally. Since then, participating in weekly Mass has helped me stay grounded and reminded me to apply Gospel values in my everyday life. Being part of the CSJ Circle since 2024 has also allowed me to grow spiritually within a community that encourages reflection, service, and living out the mission of Jesus.
More recently, experiences like the Kairos Retreat in 2026 and attending LA Catholics Youth Day deepened my faith even further. Kairos gave me time to reflect on my relationship with God and recognize how faith is present in both the challenges and blessings of my life. Youth Day was inspiring because it allowed me to see how many young people share the same desire to grow in their faith and live out their values. These experiences have helped me realize that being a woman of faith means not only believing, but also living those beliefs through my actions, relationships, and commitment to serving others.
As I finish my senior year, I realize that being a woman of faith is a journey that will continue beyond high school. These experiences have taught me to trust in God’s guidance and to carry the values I have learned into the future. I hope to continue strengthening my faith, encouraging others, and living out the mission of Jesus through compassion, service, and the choices I make in my life.
